I placed a bet on a Virtual Soccer match on the site. It was scored incorrectly. I promptly contacted customer service, and they took half an hour to identify the bet and request the information necessary to deal with the issue.
I followed up the next night. This customer service experience was even worse. There were multiple times that agents were non-responsive. It took so long that my sessions timed out, and on at least one occasion, I had to queue again for an available agent. At one point the agent identified a wager that wasn't even placed in the Casino, which I had to take several minutes (and a disconnection) to go back and correct. After dealing with another half hour of responses that were sporadic at best, the agent requested the exact same information that I provided the previous night.
I'll never trust the company's Virtual Sports or casino again, and I plan on taking all of my business elsewhere moving forward.
BetMGM made an error in their payment processing along with their grading of a wager. Due to their error they canceled my $3,500 worth of withdrawals and screwed me out of money that was rightfully mine. I have sent them numerous emails with the documents calculating the amount of money that should have been in my account after their error and they are refusing to recalculate and accept responsibility for their error. Here is the last email I sent to them based on their response.
'This is incorrect. If I had 1,536.99 in my balance, and that 4,000 withdrawal was canceled, I should have $5,536.99 in my account. The $2,660.37 that was owed should have been taken out of there and I should have been left with a $2,875.63 balance. Therefore we should have been all corrected and then my previous withdrawals of $1,000, $1,000, $500, and $1,000 should have been processed.'
What Bet MGM is trying to say is the following 'There was a resettlement done on bet ***. At that time you had $1,536.99 in your account when the resettlement happened.
Initially, one of the games selected in the parlay was settled incorrectly as a winner and we paid out $4,495.10. The correct payment should have been $1,834.74, which it was after the Rockies/Diamondbacks game was settled correctly (as with one of the selections cancelled and calculated with odds of 1.00, which is then making the odds for your combo bet 3.67).
This means that you were owing us $2,660.37, but at the moment of the resettlement you had $1,536.99 in your account. Due to this your account was then at -$1,123. At this point, the pending withdrawals were reverted back to your account to cover the balance. You were then left with $5,253.26 after the resettlement.'
They are refusing to credit a $4,000 withdrawal I made after they incorrectly paid out on winning play *** back to my account where the difference of the $2,660.37 they are claiming I owed for the incorrect payout should have been taken from.
Just like many other scam gambling websites, Bet MGM offers 3 options for withdrawal of your money, all 3 of which are not functioning. They say you have to meet certain requirements which are actually impossible to meet, or even if you do meet certain requirements they tell you you have not. I had deposited from my bank account to Bet MGM, and attempted to withdraw to that same bank account, and was told I was not eligible to withdraw to that bank account because I had not made a deposit from that bank account, when in fact I had. Their customer service gave no solution to this conundrum.
They put a bonus on my account was a bonus match of $150 then they say you gave to wager $7000 before you can start to withdraw any money !!! I’ve told them I can’t do that!! They have held my $2000 winnings hostage and continue to say I have to wager $7000 before I can withdraw funds ..I’ve tried to contact then get promised emails that never come ... running in circles with no answers
I made a deposit of $1,000 into my BetMGM app. There was $500 in my account already so I made a full bet of $1,500 in roulette. I won and now I’m not able to withdrawal my winnings because without my knowledge I used some kind of bonus. After multiple calls to customer service and multiple requests for a supervisor I was stonewalled. I was told I need to spend an excess of $12,500 to withdrawal my winnings. This isn’t the way to conduct business.
Bet MGM offered 100% match on your initial deposit plus $25 match play for new customers with code PLAYNJFREE. When I made my deposit of $150, I was automatically and without consent given code MCW1000 which according to their help desk is the same thing. After playing and spending well over the $175 in free money they gave me, I had winnings of $270.04. At this point they restricted my withdrawal because I did not spend 6X the amount of free money which would be the equivalent of $900. The same customer service representative Anniqua was not helpful via live chat and she was the person that responded to my email request. This is absolutely false advertising and takes advantage of customers. These stipulations were not a requirement with code PLAYNJFREE. I was able to drop the code and withdrawal $120.04, but I feel as this is a scam and I should be awarded the full $270.04.
I currently have money in my Bet MGM online account that I would like to withdraw. I would like to withdraw the money because I am not happy with the user experience for a number of reasons. When I made my initial deposit into the account I tried all the methods available and the only one I could get to work was an ACH transfer straight from my bank account. Now I would like to withdraw the money and since I was unable to make a deposit with the other available options I am now unable to withdraw money with those options. As such, my only current option is to receive a check in the mail, however, the balance in my account is less than $500 so MGM customer service informed me they would not send a check for less than $500. They told me my only options are to either make a 3 hour drive to the borgata in Atlantic City or deposit additional money into my account. Both options are unacceptable to me. It is unfeasible for me to get to the casino and I don't want to deposit more money into my account, I want to take the money out. MGM had no issue taking a deposit straight from my account, but now that I want it back I need to jump through hoops. They are holding my money hostage.
I was solicited for a free bet on the MGM and opened an account with my credit card. After a horrible experience with the website I wanted to close out my account and either have the remaining funds credited back on my credit card or mailed to me in a check. They are now requesting that I deposit another $10 with a different deposit source to request my funds OR have $500 to request a check. I just want out and it seems like their customer service teams are overseas and following a playbook that intimidates customers.
I was randomly locked out of my online account and when I tried to reach customer service they were horrible with responding back and gave me zero information on the reason for why I was locked out. I was locked out for about 2 weeks.
My first email to the company was to inquire about the locked account from which I received an email back stating for security reasons my account was under review. I responded back asking if they could provide more information. A few days went by with no response so I followed up again with them responding that my account was under review for 'verification purposes' this time and the customer service representative said they are unable to do anything. I sent two more emails with no response.
At that point I decided to call the customer service number. The guy on the phone told me my account was under review and that they had no information to give me. After me trying my best to pry out any information from him to no avail we eventually got disconnected and I noticed during our call I finally received an email back from the operations team (coincidence? I think not). The email said 'This email is to inform you that after further review, we have decided to permanently close your account. Unfortunately, we are unable to share any information regarding this business decision. However, we will be contacting you shortly in regards to the funds remaining in the account.'
So I called back asking how I go about receiving the hundreds of dollars that is in my now deleted account and the woman said that now the funds are also under review and that she had no further information to provide. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced with complete disregard for the customer. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism where not a single ounce of an explanation is provided when I've done nothing wrong to even warrant my account being deleted yet hundreds of dollars hanging in the balance of their review.
I heard an advertisement on WFAN radio 101.9 fm on Friday 12/6 for the betmgm app. The ad clearly stated if you created an account, deposited money, entered the promo code bart200 and placed your first 1 dollar bet on Anthony Joshua to win his boxing match you would receive 200-1 odds and receive the payout in bonus bets meaning you bet 1$ and if Joshua won you’d receive 200$ in bonus bets. I went through all of those steps and even live chatted with a representative on the app who assured me the promo code had been applied and I would receive the 200-1 odds. Joshua won the match and I looked into my account and only 100 dollars in bonus bets had been applied. I live chatted with multiple representatives and emailed customer service who told me the terms and conditions of the promo code were actually 100-1 odds. But the advertisement clearly stated 200-1 and was also implied in the physical code “bart200” which represented the radio host Bart Scott and the odds of 200-1.
I have been using the bet MGM app on my phone for months. It is very convenient, but it does have many technical issues because of staying connected to the internet. Most times I play I need to log out and log back in multiple times because of this issue. About a month ago (10/31/2019) I was playing the game Melon Madness. I had a spin where I bet $7.50. When I spun, I hit three bells which signifies I won a bonus round. I even have a picture of the exact spin that says 'Bonus Round'. I then went to play the bonus round to see what I had won, but...connectivity issues. Like I said this is a normal occurrence that has happened 100's of times. So I logged out and logged back in. I opened the Melon Madness game and it said that I had an unfinished game in real play. This means that game is already official. The problem is that when I tried to get back in the game it would 'freeze' each time and not allow me to play the bonus round and collect my winnings. I then reached out to my VIP Manager Karleen. She sent the issue to her service team and I then waited for days. After a month of going back and fourth....with no progress on MGM's side I finally hear back from Karleen. She told me the game was 'cleared' and she refunded my 7.50 back...which was the original cost of the spin...and that's their final decision. What???? I won a bonus round, and they are just giving me my money back? The picture that I had sent even had the exact transaction ID #. I know that casino's know what happens on every spin, especially when they have the exact transaction number to research it with. However they decided not to do this for some reason.
I requested a refund because I wasn't able to use the service. I was told I wouldn't be able to bet on the New Jersey website from the state of Virginia. I asked for a refund and was told I would receive it within 5 to 7 business days. After not receiving it I called back they say that it was sent and told me to contact my financial institution. I emailed the company and was referred to play+ MGM. I have communicated with both companies and I still haven't received a refund from anyone.
